The Word and a Workout, Philippians 4:6
If there’s anything that many of us women find in common this time of the year, it’s worry and anxiety. I’m not sure what has you up at night, but for me, it’s stress over the finances and worry about having enough money for Christmas presents. While I sit in this worry, I neglect decorating and then worry about not giving my kids the best Christmas they can have.
Because I know many of us are heading down a path towards indigestion and ulcers with all this worry, I chose to focus on Philippians 4:6 this week. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Join me for a 16 minute workout and a chat about what it means to “not be anxious.” Before you shrug off this seemingly impossible command, click play below and work off some of that worry as we talk about what it means to really give it over to God and choose to present our requests to him instead.
I would love your feedback on these videos. And yes, one of these days I will invest in professional lighting and sound equipment. But for now, we are making it work. If there are specific verses you would like to focus on, please let me know. If you have any physical limitations and would like to focus on a certain way to exercise, just shoot me a message. I’m here to serve you through this ministry and it would be my pleasure to cater these videos to your needs.
