Strength and Stretch Workout

I’m at the age and fitness level in my life where I really enjoy having workouts that are challenging, but don’t destroy my body. I used to love the intense, grueling workouts that left me feeling like a spaghetti noodle with nothing left to give the rest of the day. But, as I’ve grown older and I think a bit wiser, I’m listening to my body more. That’s why I created this faith and fitness workout that incorporates a little bit of challenging strength with some stretching in between.

For this workout you can choose to use light weights, heavier weights or no weights. You can also grab any objects that may provide some resistance such as soup cans, water jugs, or anything else that works for you. Follow along at your own pace as we grow stronger together in Christ.

 

This workout consists of:

Squats – 30 sec
Lunges – 30 sec
Sumo squats – 30 sec
Deadlifts  – 30 sec
Repeat x2

4 minutes of stretching

Bent over row + tricep ex – 30 sec
Curl + Press – 30 sec
Lateral Raise – 30 sec
Upright Row – 30 sec
Repeat x2

4 minutes of stretching

REPEAT ENTIRE ROUND 2X
