Standing in His Purpose, 23 Minute Low Impact Workout
What plans did you have for your life? Were they big, grand plans that you were for sure would fall into place? Did they eventually come to fruition? Or, did you experience some heartache along the way like me where your life took a completely different path?
When I don’t have my eyes fixed on Christ, I can get bitter about this. I can forget that God is ultimately in control of my life. Because I know I need this reminder on a daily basis, I chose Proverbs 19:21 as the verse for this low impact, faith and fitness workout. Proverbs 19:21 says Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
I created this workout to give almost anyone an opportunity to strengthen their muscles and break a sweat. Sometimes it can be hard to find a good workout that is do-able for various fitness levels and abilities. I used several pilates inspired movements to create this routine along with several options for intensity levels. Here’s the best part – you get to choose how hard you workout. You also get to choose if you want to pause halfway through and finish later, take longer breaks than me, or even sit down in a chair and mirror the motions while seated. I love that movement doesn’t have to be perfect, and I especially love that we don’t have to move exactly like each other. I encourage you to move with grace standing in the truth that God’s purpose will prevail.
